PRACTICAL TRAILER GUIDE

Deckover versus low-deck trailer

Choose the deck geometry that fits both the load and the loading method.

01 / BUYING DECISION

Deckover advantage

A deck above the wheels gives an uninterrupted width without fenders in the work area. That can help with wide machinery or building modules.

02 / BUYING DECISION

Low-deck advantage

A lower deck can make loading easier for low-clearance cars and some equipment. Available clear width may be constrained by the fenders and frame.

03 / BUYING DECISION

Measure the job

Compare tire or track width, ground clearance, approach angle, height limits and tiedown access before settling on a deck.

USE THIS WITH YOUR QUOTE

Send measurements that reveal loading fit

Compare deck height and usable width together. The widest deck is not automatically the easiest trailer to load.
