COLORADO CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
ADU & modular building platforms
Plan an accessory dwelling unit or modular building package around the destination, foundation and approved construction scope.
Start with how and where the building will be used. An ADU intended for a permanent site needs a different approval and installation plan from a mobile tiny house. Trailer Made can review the structural platform, insulated floor, steel framing and shell as a coordinated manufacturing scope.
Confirm the destination first
Share the site address, intended use, access constraints and the requirements supplied by your local building department. Zoning, permits, foundation design, utility connections and installation responsibilities must be agreed before manufacturing.
Define the building package
Specify the floor plan, dimensions, framing, enclosure, openings and included systems. A shell, frame kit and finished building are different scopes; the written proposal identifies exactly what is included.
Coordinate transport and installation
Review finished weight, delivery route, unloading access and the site-set foundation. A trailer platform is not automatically a permanent building foundation or an approval for occupancy.
Request a project-specific schedule
Frame kits generally take about 2–3 weeks and shells about 6–8 weeks. Engineering, approvals, finished-building scope and site work require their own schedule. Ask for current pricing and written warranty terms for the selected package.
Define the scope before the price.
Quotes are generally valid for 10 business days. Request current pricing, included scope and written warranty terms for your project.
